If I weren't feeling under-the-weather I would be out wishing my country Happy Birthday with barbecue and fireworks, but as it stands I'll probably be staying home and trying to get over a nasty head cold. At least the rainy weather today makes me feel less like I'm missing out than a hot, beautiful sunny one would... mother nature must be encouraging me to stay home and look after myself. So, from our little Canadian family to yours, where ever you may be... Happy Canada Day!

A sweet little side note: Last week when we told Sophie that Canada Day was coming up and that it represented our countries "birthday"... she asked us if we could buy Canada a present. What a cutie.
