Cookies, Part 1!

Tomorrow's a big day for Sophie at Calvary Nursery School... all the children who have birthdays in the summer time are given a day during the last week of school to celebrate their birthday with the class, and Monday belongs to Sophie. In preparation for her special day we made cookies to share with the class - simple sugar cookies shaped like hearts, but with a lovely marbling technique on the icing. I used Royal icing so I know they will harden nicely and keep their pretty patterns during the trip to school... Sophie can't wait to hand them out to all her friends!
