We enjoyed an Old South tradition today, attending the 27th annual Gathering on the Green. The grounds of the Monsignor Feeney Centre (also known as the "Normal School") are full of vendors selling home made crafts, musicians, yummy food, a tea garden, and lots of great games for kids. It's such a fun community event... I remember attending it when I was a child, which makes taking Sophie just that much nicer. I snapped this picture of her while we were sitting on the grass by the mini-put, listening to some amazingly talented eleven-year-old kids in a rock band called U-Turn. Cuddled up with Mom, enjoying her sno-cone and surrounded by sunshine, music and fun... definitely one of Sophie's "happy places".
