One of my favourite days of the month has come... it's the day my reading group "How Novel" gets together to discuss our latest book. Always a fun evening, it brings a diverse and truly wonderful group of women together at one of our homes to share a few glasses of wine and some munchies while discussing whatever book our hostess selected for us that month. Tonight we were chatting about the vampire-romance phenomenon Twilight, complete with lasagna ("We're making Italiano for you Bella." - Esme), juicy red apples and a book-shaped cake care of our hostess Jen. In recognition of the theme of the evening I made my fellow reading group members a little keepsake - book marks to hold their spot while they delve into the next book in the Twilight series (which they've all either already read or plan to read.) The quote, if you're not familiar with it, is taken directly from the novel and describes the relationship of the two main characters - the Vampire Edward and his human love Bella.
