It's a raining today so Rowan, Sophie and I got quite wet coming home from preschool this morning. Once we got home, the kids and I decided to strip off our wet coats and boots and play out on the porch for a bit before heading inside for lunch... it's a good opportunity to blow off some steam and watch people walk up and down the street while not getting any wetter. In the midst of the rain a small patch of sunlight cut through the clouds and filtered a bit of light into our yard - I snapped this shot of the glistening raindrops (which almost look like snow) on one of the bushes beside the porch.
