There is nothing quite like the look of unadulterated joy on the face of a child at a splash pad! Chris took Sophie down to Ivy Park while I was hard at work on the Tecumseh Public School newsletter this afternoon, and despite being tired from a very busy day she had an absolute ball. She's so funny with splash pads... she loves the "idea" of them but avoids actually getting her body wet at all costs. I think secretly she loves the adrenaline rush of shrieking and running away from the shooting/pouring water more than playing in the water itself!
