I don't normally keep fresh flowers in our house, because our crazy cats seem obsessed with eating them. That said, the onset of the (finally!) warm weather and Easter weekend led me to disregard that rule. At the market on Saturday I picked up three bunches of fresh cut flowers (including this Gerber Daisy, which is my favourite flower) and trimmed the stems down to arrange them in an old brown betty teapot for a table centrepiece, and my sister-in-law Mary surprised me with another bouquet on Sunday. So our table is flush with flowers, and I'm flushed from shoo-ing the cats down before they destroy them!
