Photo of the Day January 17th

The display board I created for tomorrow morning's Coffee Drop-in

Between continuing prep for my soup class and working on two School Council events (a Coffee Drop-in Session for parents that's running first thing tomorrow morning, and our monthly Council meeting which happens tomorrow night) my day was once again spent nose-to-the-grindstone. I'm not going to take the time to look it up, but I just bet that a "grindstone" is some sort of old fashioned tool that one uses to dull edges on something sharp - to literally grind things down. That sounds an awful lot like what my current schedule is doing to me: grinding me down. Clearly I like to volunteer, but I think I may just overdo it sometimes... and with four large events and a few meetings all happening within the space of less than 10 days, I'm beat. Too beat to write any more actually!
