Today's photo-of-the-Day is an update on my little green thumbs latest project... the Amaryllis that our landlady gave us for Christmas. About three weeks ago it wasn't much more than a bulb, but with Sophie's loving care, water and the odd day of sunlight, it's really coming along. Not being a plant person, I'm not sure what one does with an amaryllis... is this something that we should expect to keep in its little pot, or would it be better replanted in the garden once the snow melts? Advice from my green-thumbed friends and family would certainly be welcome!
