While I stayed home to teach an Easter Card-making class, Sophie and Chris enjoyed a drive to Stratford this afternoon to attend the Annual Swan Parade. It's an event that marks the start of spring with the release of Stratford's swan population back into the Avon River, complete with a pipe band to accompany the birds from their winter quarters down to the water. A truly unique event not to be missed (unless you're teaching a class I guess!)... to get a real sense of the event, click here for a YouTube video of the pipers and parade.
