Back home, and back into the "swing of things" again... Chris worked from 7am to 7pm, and we had our friend Rowan over for the day. Guess Christmas holidays are officially over despite the fact we haven't fully unpacked yet! We had a blast around around the house today though, including both indoor and outdoor activities like our "foot bath" shown above (which was inspired by a very silly game of "smell my feet" that either Rowan or Sophie started this morning), and some good old-fashioned playing in the snow in the afternoon. I love being up in Beaverton with my family for the holidays, but there's something to be said for settling into the comfortable routines of home again... wet pants, spilled milk, strewn-about toys and all!
